CABLE ASSEMBLIES
Individual Wires, Ribbon Cables, and Assembly Integration
The first step in cable assembly is the processing of individual wires. Depending on your requirements and quantities, we process wires fully or semi-automatically.
With our two fully automatic machines, the following processes can be performed:
- Cutting and stripping
- Crimping on both ends
- Tinning on both ends
- Crimping and tinning
- Application of individual wire seals
- Custom wire labeling
We process wire cross-sections from 0.13 mm² to 6.0 mm². For larger wire gauges in small quantities, processing steps are performed sequentially to avoid high setup costs for you.
In a subsequent step, we assemble the individual wires into a cable assembly or harness, including optical and electrical testing.
Ribbon Cable Production
In addition to individual wires, ribbon cable fabrication is another major area of expertise in our company. Our range includes 4- to 50-pin cables with pitch sizes from 1.27 mm to 1.00 mm. Common connectors with insulation displacement technology (IDC) are stocked, allowing us to supply you quickly and flexibly.
Our machinery allows fully automatic processing of ribbon cables up to 12 pins, including cutting, labeling, and partial stripping. For larger pin counts, each step is performed sequentially. Labeling can be fully customized to your specifications.
All ribbon cables undergo visual inspection according to IPC620 and can be optionally tested for continuity and short circuits. Test equipment and adapters are redundantly available.
Complete Cable Assemblies and Integration
Beyond cable assembly, we can integrate your fabricated cable sets and harnesses with other modules, delivering a pre-assembled system. We gladly process supplied materials or externally sourced components, which we procure according to your specifications.
Of course, electrical testing of the completed system is also performed as needed. Our engineering team supports you from the development of the test concept through to serial testing.
